Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Wilmington, DE for a VP of External Affairs. The VP will be responsible for managing government relations, strategic communications, public relations, and strategic planning. Day-to-day tasks include developing and implementing communication strategies, overseeing public relations efforts, engaging with government officials, and leading strategic planning initiatives to support the organization’s mission.
Qualifications
Skills in Government Relations and Communication
Experience in Strategic Communications and Public Relations
Proven abilities in Strategic Planning
Excellent leadership and management capabilities
Ability to engage with diverse stakeholders and build strong relationships
Master’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Public Policy, or related field; or equivalent experience
Experience in nonprofit sector or health services is a plus
