Lizara Health Access Initiative (LHAI) is seeking a Volunteer Social Media Officer to help drive our vision of a world where everyone has access to quality healthcare, regardless of location or background.

This is more than just a volunteer role — it’s a chance to shape the voice of a health-focused nonprofit and become a digital advocate for change.

 

Your Role:

As our Social Media Officer, you will:

Manage and grow LHAI’s presence across platforms: Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X (Twitter)

Create impactful content (graphics, captions, short videos) aligned with health access and advocacy

Engage meaningfully with followers and build our online community

Plan and schedule posts using tools like Canva, Buffer, or Meta Business Suite

Track performance and provide monthly insights on engagement metrics

Collaborate with program and communication teams to promote our activities, campaigns, and impact stories

You Bring:

Strong written and verbal communication skills

A flair for design, creativity, and attention to detail

Familiarity with social media trends, especially in the non-profit or public health space

Passion for health equity, global health, or community development

Previous experience with social media management tools (a plus, but not mandatory!)

 

Commitment:

Remote & flexible

Approx. 5–7 hours per week

Minimum commitment of 3 months preferred
