Key Responsibilities

Meet with local government leaders and lobby for legislation that improves living conditions for the world’s poor.

Mobilize community members to contact their government leaders in support of poverty reduction legislation.

Manage and implement fundraising campaigns.

Build a network of engaged individuals in the cause.

Serve as The Borgen Project’s ambassador in your city.

Qualifications

Basic understanding of politics and international development.

Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.

Strong team player with innovative ideas.

Decisive with independent judgment.

Excellent communication skills (oral, written, presentation).
