About the Organization

The Borgen Project is an international organization working to reduce global poverty by influencing U.S. and U.K. foreign policy. With 20 years of experience, it has supported legislation benefiting nearly 500 million people in developing countries.

Program Details

This is a part-time, unpaid, remote program of 12 hours per week for 12 weeks. Participants can complete the program sooner if desired. The role aims to increase awareness of our work through various activities:

Creating a branding campaign

Conducting focus groups and gathering feedback for market research

Pitching story ideas to media outlets

Developing and implementing fundraising strategies

Planning and presenting at informational meetings

Utilizing social media and developing web messaging strategies

Supporting advocacy efforts

Qualifications

No prior experience is necessary. We seek passionate individuals committed to fighting poverty, regardless of background or GPA.

Additional Information

This is an unpaid opportunity, with college credit available. Programs start monthly, and you can choose your start date.
