Role Description The Volunteer Program Manager is , remote role responsible for designing, coordinating, and overseeing volunteer programs that support United Leaders Global’s mission. In this role, the manager will recruit, onboard, and support volunteers, ensuring they understand their responsibilities and have the resources needed to succeed. Day-to-day tasks include developing volunteer roles and schedules, managing communication with volunteers, organizing virtual training sessions, and monitoring participation and performance. The manager will also collaborate with internal teams to align volunteer initiatives with organizational goals, track program outcomes, and prepare regular reports and updates. This role requires proactive problem-solving, clear communication, and a commitment to creating a positive and inclusive volunteer experience.
Qualifications
- Experience in volunteer management, program coordination, or community engagement, with the ability to design and oversee volunteer initiatives.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, including experience with scheduling, documentation, and tracking program activities.
- Be able to work for Unpaid/ Volunteer Position
- Be able to work for 4-7 hours per week
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with diverse groups of volunteers and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership and facilitation abilities, including experience conducting trainings, leading meetings, and supporting team collaboration.
- Comfort with remote work tools and digital platforms (e.g., video conferencing, project management software, shared documents).
- Commitment to youth empowerment, social impact, and inclusive, non-discriminatory practices.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and adapt in a fast-paced, international, remote environment.
- Relevant education or training in nonprofit management, social sciences, or a related field is beneficial but not required; prior experience working with youth or global initiatives is a plus.
