Position Summary:
We are seeking passionate volunteer Grant Writers and Fundraisers to join our mission! Whether you’re a retiree, student, or an experienced nonprofit professional looking to sharpen your grant-writing and fundraising skills, this role offers a unique opportunity to contribute your talent to a worthy cause.
You will work directly with African nonprofits we support, helping them craft compelling grant proposals, identify funding opportunities, and build relationships with donors. This is your chance to make a tangible difference by unlocking resources for under-resourced communities across Africa.
Responsibilities:
✅ Research grant opportunities aligned with African NGOs’ missions
✅ Draft, edit, and submit grant proposals and applications
✅ Support fundraising campaigns and donor outreach
✅ Collaborate virtually with nonprofit leaders in Africa
✅ Help build fundraising strategies and donor pipelines
What We’re Looking For:
Retirees eager to give back through meaningful volunteer work
Students in nonprofit management, international development, or related fields
Nonprofit professionals seeking to hone and expand their grant-writing expertise
Strong writing, research, and communication skills
Passion for Africa-focused causes and global social impact
Time Commitment:
Flexible — we ask for at least 5–10 hours per month, depending on your availability and project needs.
