Role Overview: We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers to support the delivery of our community projects, including groups, fundraising initiatives, and family-focused events. As a volunteer, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming environment for parents and children, helping with practical tasks, and promoting our every
FAMILY initiative to enhance the lives of local families.
Key Responsibilities:
Group Support:
Assist with setting up and packing away play groups, ensuring the space is clean, safe, and inviting.
Welcome parents and children, providing a friendly face and helping them feel at ease.
Support the smooth running of sessions, engaging with families and ensuring activities are inclusive and enjoyable.
Clothes Bank Referrals:
Help families access our clothes bank service by providing information and making referrals as needed.
Organise and maintain clothing donations, ensuring items are sorted and available for distribution.
Event Support and Fundraising:
Assist in organising and promoting fundraising events to support community projects.
Attend community events, representing every
FAMILY, and sharing information about our programs and services.
Undertake any other duties required in keeping with the aims of this post.
Skills and Qualities Needed:
Friendly, welcoming, and approachable.
Passionate about supporting families and building community connections.
Reliable, organized, and able to work as part of a team.
Good communication skills and the ability to interact with people from diverse backgrounds.
A willingness to learn and adapt to the needs of the role.
