Job Description:
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or related field, preferred
2+ Years of experience working in the field of human services
Experience managing volunteers and/or serving in volunteer roles
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Organization skills;
Ability to present material in a manner that is easy to understand;
Excellent writing andcommunication skills;
Ability to develop and maintain professional working relationship
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Essential Responsibilities:
Develop, promote and maintain a wide range of corporate relation volunteer opportunities for the Military & Veterans Services Program.
Develop a robust volunteer program for the newly established Military and Veteran Campus in Franklin, NH.
Partner with the ESNH Volunteer and In-kind Manager to ensure a seamless volunteer experience in every aspect for all volunteers across the agency. (i.e. recruitment, orientation, onsite experience,appreciation, etc.)
Establish and continuously develop external stakeholder relationships to promote volunteer opportunities within the program and grow volunteer talent pools.
Interview and recruit volunteers through various channels and ensure that they are appropriately matched for the organizational opportunity.
Assist with the creation of appropriate volunteer opportunities and role descriptions based on the needs of the program, while also ensuring there is appropriate support and training for volunteers. Work with the Military & Veterans Services Program Campus Team, Mar Comm and Development Teams to promote volunteering both internally and externally.
Work with the Volunteer and In-kind Manager to coordinate the completion of the volunteer onboarding process as well as ensure the individual is meeting job expectations.
Partner with the Military & Veterans Services Program Campus Team to identify, create, and produce consistent reporting that demonstrates volunteer analytics and resource usage.
Oversee on-site volunteer work assignments and provide support as needed including on the Military and Veteran Campus in Franklin, NH as well as in other programmatic locations.
Partner with Military & Veterans Services Campus Team to anticipate, plan, and implement strategic volunteering initiatives and programming.
Assist with event management activities and volunteer related events.
Partner with the Volunteer and In-Kind Manager to plan and execute volunteerrecognitionandappreciationactivities.
Non-Essential Responsibilities:
Perform additional duties as requested.
Compensation:
58,000 based on experience andeducation.
