Make an impact as a Human Rights Policy Advisor for renewable energy in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. This volunteer role focuses on developing human rights policies with AHER.
As a volunteer, you will help implement effective human rights policies across a network of renewable energy companies in Honduras. This role requires at least two years of experience in project design within social and energy sectors. Your mission will include conducting workshops and producing consultation reports to inform policy adaptation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and conduct workshops for government and communities

• Facilitate inclusive consultation processes for the private sector

• Prepare reports to inform advocacy and stakeholder engagement

• Integrate human rights into environmental assessment documents

• Document best practices and policy improvement recommendations
Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Sciences or International Development

• At least 2 years of project execution experience

• Familiarity with climate change contexts

• Excellent analytical and teamwork skills
