Volunteer Opportunity
This is a volunteer opportunity provided by Taproot Foundation, a nonprofit creating social change through pro bono connections.
Improving our proposal template will increase our chances of securing funding that supports innovative education and essential healthcare for children in underserved communities. Volunteers will directly help us strengthen programs that build resilience, integrate technology, and improve community well‑being.
Responsibilities
- Attend two meetings with the project team; first meeting will provide the application draft and review it with you.
- Align on expectations and agree on the project timeline.
- Review the document using the track‑changes function, check for inconsistencies and continuity errors, and create a list of recommended changes to share with the team.
- After up to two rounds of edits, make the agreed‑upon changes to the document.
We have a dedicated team member for the project who will provide you with the document that needs to be reviewed in an easily shareable format (Microsoft Word, Google Docs, etc.). We will also send you the proposal and application guidelines.
