Role Description This is a part-time remote Fundraiser role focused on securing resources to support Aint Foundation CIC’s trauma-informed mental health and community wellbeing programs. The Fundraiser will research and identify suitable funding opportunities, including grants, corporate partnerships, and individual giving campaigns. They will prepare high-quality funding proposals, applications, and reports that clearly communicate the impact and objectives of the organization’s work. The role involves cultivating and maintaining relationships with donors and partners, managing fundraising pipelines, and tracking outcomes against targets. The Fundraiser will also contribute to fundraising strategies, support digital and community-based campaigns, and collaborate with internal teams to align income generation with program priorities.
Qualifications
- Strong fundraising and development skills, including experience with grant writing, donor stewardship, and income generation from diverse funding streams.
- Proficiency in research and analysis to identify funding opportunities, understand funder priorities, and evidence impact using data and case studies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and tailored proposals for different audiences.
- Organizational and project management skills to handle multiple deadlines, maintain accurate records, and work systematically toward fundraising targets.
- Comfort with digital tools and platforms, including basic CRM or donor management systems, online fundraising tools, and standard office software.
- Demonstrated commitment to mental health, trauma-informed practice, social impact, or community development; experience in the nonprofit or CIC sector is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, collaborate effectively with a dispersed team, and exercise sound judgment and confidentiality.
- Relevant education or training in fundraising, nonprofit management, communications, or a related field is beneficial, though equivalent experience is also valued.
