The Volunteer Coordinator has overall responsibility for the Hospice’s Volunteer Program; including for recruiting, training, retaining and supervising volunteers. This role leads with passion,

and a philanthropic heart with others who are called to serve.
As the Volunteer Coordinator, you will:
• Maintain documentation of ongoing efforts to recruit and retain volunteers
• Provide training and orientation ensuring volunteers are aware of and in agreement with their duties and responsibilities
• Assesses and maintains documentation of volunteers’ skills and competencies
• Participate as a member of the IDT, and coordinate with the other members of the IDT to ensure coordination and integration of volunteer services
• Establish a public relations program to foster good working relations with the volunteers & the community
• Assists with developing, planning, and executing of events pertaining to the volunteer program
