WOOD COUNTY JUVENILE COURT COURT APPOINTED SPECIAL ADVOCACY PROGRAM

The Wood County Juvenile Court, Court Appointed Special Advocacy Program (CASA) is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of part-time Volunteer Coordinator. The CASA Program’s purpose is to advocate for children who have experienced abuse or neglect and seek to provide a safe and permanent home for them.

The Volunteer Coordinator works with child welfare professionals, educators, and service providers to ensure that judges have the information they need to make the most well-informed decisions for each child.

Strong written and oral communication skills

Courteous and professional demeanor

Organizational skills to be able to work independently, manage time, and meet deadlines

Applicants shall have an Associate Degree, or related experience, be at least 21 years old, and have a valid Driver’s License. This is a part-time position with a starting salary of $21.00 per hour. Hours will vary but will not exceed 30 hours per week. Sick leave is available.
