Leading with Love Foundation is a Minnesota-based public charity founded in 2024, dedicated to fostering compassion and kindness through charitable and educational programs. As a 501(c)(3) public charity, we provide innovative and tailored funding for individuals facing socioeconomic barriers.
- Leading efforts of love and emphasizing the importance of paying it forward
- Decreasing systemic financial and housing barriers for underserved populations
- Distributing microgrants to advance educational and economic support for those in need
- Providing a needs-based approach to overcome obstacles for those pursuing educational attainment
- Emergency Microgrant Program: Provide direct financial assistance to individuals facing immediate barriers to educational and economic stability
- Community Resource Hub: Connect beneficiaries with essential support services through our comprehensive referral network
- Educational Scholarship Initiative: Award need-based scholarships to expand access to higher education for underserved populations
- Housing Stability Fund: Distribute housing assistance to ensure stable living conditions that support academic achievement
- Educational Resource Distribution: Supply students with essential technology, school materials, and learning resources
- Maintain accurate financial records, ensuring all reports are up-to-date and accessible
- Ensure foundation compliance with applicable laws for tax filing and financial reporting
- Prepare annual budgets and manage spending against these budgets
- Present regular financial reports to the board of directors
Operational Oversight:
- Participate in annual auditing process and answer questions from board members
- Work closely with leadership to ensure financial reports are prepared accurately and on time
- Provide fiduciary oversight of foundation operations
- Support strategic planning and grantmaking decisions
Meeting Requirements:
- Attend quarterly board meetings (remote via email and virtual format)
- Quarterly board meetings when applicable
- Contribute financially to the foundation to the extent you are able
- Participate in fundraising efforts and donor cultivation
- Leverage professional and personal networks for foundation growth
