Our vision is to provide the tools necessary so each child has the ability to fully express themselves.
Art is a vehicle to reach out to students. Engaging them with art enriches their study with all other curriculum subjects. Our strategy is aimed to spark the energy of world peace by igniting the passion of learning in the world’s children.
In using the research-based principles of integrating the arts in the general curriculum, we hope to increase self-esteem and thinking skills in children to help them become better world citizens. Wherever there is a need, drawchange wants to be there providing art supplies.
You don’t need to be an artist to volunteer in this opportunity!
We are a nonprofit organization that helps impoverished children realize their dreams through the use of art. They can be anything they want to be! Dedicate a few hours to help children express themselves through the use of art! We are at the Coalition on Wednesday afternoons at 3:15 PM. We would love it if you could dedicate two Wednesday afternoons a month!
We do art therapy-based programming with them to have fun and create with us while forgetting their daily stresses. We focus on empowerment-using only nice words and collaboration. It’s so much fun and full of positivity! We bring all the supplies, you come to hang out and help them with the activity!
We are looking for volunteers over 18.
Please fill out our volunteer application /volunteerapp – that’s the first step!
Thank you in advance!
