Volunteer and Community Engagement VISTA
Empower organizations serving survivors of trafficking and exploitation by strengthening their capacity through outreach, development, volunteer engagement, operations, and strategic partnerships. VISTA members play a vital role in advancing healthier futures free from exploitation and trauma by supporting and expanding these life-changing services. As the Volunteer and Community Engagement VISTA, you will help shape sustainable systems that attract, train, and retain passionate volunteers.
You’ll also lead efforts to boost community visibility and build partnerships that amplify impact. This is a unique opportunity to serve with purpose, grow your professional skills, and contribute to a mission that transforms lives.
Member Duties:
Recruit, coordinate, and support at least 25 volunteers by actively promoting opportunities and managing current volunteers.
Coordinate and attend at least 10 community outreach events to promote Healing Action Network’s mission and recruit volunteers.
Develop a comprehensive Volunteer Management Toolkit and Training System.
Develop volunteer appreciation and retention strategies including implementation of at least two appreciation events and analysis of engagement data to inform future planning.
