Role Overview: We are seeking a part-time Volunteer and Community Engagement Manager to oversee our sites in West Midlands, Staffordshire, Leicestershire, Gloucestershire, Worcestershire, Oxfordshire, and Berkshire. The role involves working 14.4 hours per week, on a permanent basis, alongside a colleague working 3 days per week to ensure full coverage across these counties.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and develop initiatives fostering strong community connections at our sites
Develop and deliver engagement programs and manage volunteer teams
Create engaging experiences for visitors, including under-represented audiences and local communities
Maximize public engagement opportunities and ensure site maintenance
Contribute to operational site management, including health & safety and partnership management
Support financial sustainability through community fundraising and partnerships
Develop and deliver volunteering and engagement initiatives to attract diverse audiences
Build relationships with key partners and stakeholders
Work with the National Engagement Lead to develop sustainable programs
Oversee site operations, including health & safety, fire, and security, ensuring compliance with procedures
Candidate Requirements:
Experience managing diverse volunteering programs, ideally across multiple sites
Experience working with local communities and external partners
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Understanding of volunteering and the voluntary sector
