Role Description The OWNE role at the American Bar Association is a full-time, on-site position based in Rajasthan, India. This role involves managing daily operational tasks, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders, and ensuring that assigned projects and initiatives align with ABA standards and objectives. Responsibilities may include organizing and documenting activities, supporting program implementation, maintaining accurate records, and preparing reports and updates for leadership. The OWNE will also help identify process improvements, uphold compliance with relevant policies, and contribute to a collaborative, inclusive workplace.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, including clear documentation and professional correspondence.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders, demonstrating sound judgment and professionalism.
- Proficiency with common office software (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, presentation tools) and comfort with learning new systems.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping, reporting, and compliance with internal policies.
- Relevant education such as a bachelor’s degree in law, public administration, business, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in legal, nonprofit, or professional membership organizations is an advantage.
