We are currently seeking a Vice President of Children’s Services to join our team and lead our clinical services. This position will work from our Altoona, IA corporate location.
Essential Responsibilities:
This key role involves developing and implementing a comprehensive strategy for clinical services that aligns with the organization’s mission and objectives for long-term sustainability and growth. It also requires providing leadership, support, and direction to ensure high-quality care across all locations, collaborating with the executive team to identify growth opportunities, and monitoring public policy changes while pursuing necessary system changes.
The position entails overseeing daily operations of all clinic locations to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices, as well as consistency among all locations. This includes implementing and monitoring clinical policies, procedures, and protocols to maintain high standards of care and service delivery. Additionally, the role involves ensuring that resources, such as staff, equipment, and facilities, are used efficiently and responsibly with consideration to fiscal responsibility.
The VP of Children’s Services will provide professional development and training in the latest ABA-based practices, establish a robust quality assurance program to monitor and improve clinical outcomes, lead efforts to achieve and maintain relevant accreditation, and oversee the collection, analysis, and reporting of clinical data to drive continuous improvement.
Recruitment, hiring, and retaining high-performing clinical leadership staff is essential to this role. Encouraging a culture of continuous professional development and training for leaders is essential to ensure proficiency in the latest ABA-based practices. Additionally, there is a strong emphasis on fostering a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes employee engagement and aids in retention.
Building and maintaining solid relationships with important stakeholders, such as families, healthcare providers, community organizations, and funding sources is a requirement to be successful in this role. Additionally, the VP represents the organization at conferences, meetings, and other events to raise awareness and garner support for clinic services. He/she advocates for policies and initiatives that cater to the needs of children with autism and their families.
Finally, this position develops and manages the clinical services budget, ensuring financial sustainability and accountability by monitoring financial performance and implementing strategies to achieve financial goals.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should have a relevant master’s or doctorate degree, BCBA certification preferred, a minimum of 10 years of clinical leadership experience, expertise in ABA-based practices for treating autism spectrum disorder, strong leadership and communication skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality care to children and their families.
