Tax Staff will gain wide-ranging exposure to the public accounting field and become part of a growing team that provides exemplary customer service to individuals and businesses. Saville services various clients in multiple industries, and our scope includes but is not limited to, tax planning and preparation, entity structuring, wealth preservation, and family succession consulting.
Responsibilities and Duties
Analyze and summarize tax information into work papers
Prepare individual tax returns, entity tax returns, and trust tax returns from start to finish per IRC sections and regulations.
Learn and understand the type of tax engagement offered by the firm
Perform due diligence to identify tax exposures and tax-saving opportunities
Develop a working knowledge of tax research techniques and stay informed about changes in tax laws and regulations.
Participate in data analytics using firm technology and tax software
Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, Finance or any related field
At least 3 years of US Tax working experience
A goal to obtain the Certified Public Accounting or Enrolled Agent license
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work 40-55 hours per week, dependent upon departmental workflow requirements.
