BASIC FUNCTION:
Under the general direction of Director of Imaging/US Clinical Coordinator, exercises initiative, professional sound judgment and discretion for performance of procedures and activities of the General, Vascular and Echocardiography Ultrasound section. Performs Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound Imaging and Physiologic Testing Procedures. Provides education to fellow technologists and students. Is responsible for maintenance of quality procedures and patient care.
EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE:
High school graduate or equivalent. Training through an approved school of Ultrasonography or equivalent experience.
Must be registered RVT/RDCS. Minimum 3 years Ultrasound experience required. Must maintain a valid CPR Certification.
Must be computer-literate to complete the task(s) as required.
