The primary responsibility of the Educational Facilitator is to provide support and guidance to parents in the Montessori philosophy and facilitate student learning which includes, but is not limited to, assessing, developing, planning, organizing, and monitoring a comprehensive educational plan for the desired success of each student. Community Montessori is committed to respecting the talents and interests of the individual child while implementing Montessori teaching principles. Our goal is to foster in our children a strong sense of independence, creativity, respect for others, appreciation of diversity in people, and a deep and joyful love of learning. Community Montessori currently serves approximately 750 students in grades TK-8. Students attend one of five learning centers located throughout San Diego County and are on a Montessori home study program.

Requirements / Qualifications

1. Possess a current, Clear or Preliminary, Multiple Subject Credential or District Intern Credential* 2. Possess EL Authorization 3. For TK/K Applicants: Possess a Child Development (Site Supervisor) Permit 3. Montessori training strongly preferred (Paid Montessori training provided) *District Intern eligible candidates accepted. Element Education provides a tuition assistance repayment plan for District Intern and Induction candidates.

Compensation

The wage range for this role takes into account a range of factors in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, and business/organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. Element Education believes in professional learning and reflection and utilizes a merit based compensation program.
