Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited Educational Institution; Master’s Degree preferred. Must be able to work with a diverse group of students, staff, and co-workers. Strong verbal and written skills with the knowledge of Missouri educational requirements to receive a high school diploma is strongly preferred. Experience working with nontraditional and/or adult learners is preferred.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities
Provide a positive learning environment for adult learners
Develop and implement strategies, activities, and objectives for learners
Effectively facilitate a variety of differentiated learning opportunities including direct instruction, small group instruction, and cooperative learning
Provide visual, auditory, and hands-on learning activities that lead to required competencies (as outlined by the State of Missouri)
Track each student’s progress
Work as part of a team to support barrier removal for adult learners
Other duties as assigned
