Role Description The Talent Acquisition Business Partner is a full-time, on-site role based in Milwaukee, WI, responsible for leading end-to-end recruitment efforts across the organization. This role collaborates closely with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, define role requirements, and develop sourcing strategies that attract diverse and qualified candidates. Daily responsibilities include posting job openings, screening applicants, conducting interviews, coordinating interview logistics, and guiding candidates and hiring teams through the selection and offer process. The Talent Acquisition Business Partner also supports employer branding initiatives, builds talent pipelines through networking and partnerships, and uses data to improve recruitment processes and outcomes. In addition, this role partners with HR colleagues to ensure hiring practices align with organizational values, applicable laws, and internal policies, while promoting an inclusive and positive candidate experience.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Human Resources (HR) and HR Policies, with the ability to apply them throughout the recruitment and hiring lifecycle.
  • Experience with Employee Relations, including partnering with managers and HR to support positive workplace culture and resolve employment-related concerns.
  • Working knowledge of Labor and Employment Law to help ensure compliant hiring practices and adherence to relevant regulations.
  • Understanding of Performance Management processes and how talent acquisition supports long-term employee development and retention.
  • Demonstrated experience in full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, interviewing, and selection for a variety of roles.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS), HRIS platforms, and common office productivity tools.
  • Experience in healthcare, human services, or nonprofit environments is beneficial.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
