SALARY: £13.55 PAYE or £14.22 Umbrella

Summary:
Our client is looking for a Homeless Support Enabler to work with a small but
dynamic
team in Minehead, where your passion and commitment will make a palpable difference in the lives of many. This contract role offers you the
unique opportunity
to work within the dedicated Accommodation-based Support Team. In
collaboration
with Somerset Council, they strive to address the pressing challenge of rising homelessness, specifically focusing on individuals with complex needs and a history of rough sleeping.
Preferred Requirements:
Demonstrated experience in homeless pathway support,
inclusive
of tenancy sustainment and move-on support mechanisms.
Aptitude in navigating and supporting various complex needs tailored to individuals.
Commitment to providing high-quality service, fostering development, and supporting effective move-on strategies.
Implementing Support Plans
Multi agency working
Proficiency in facilitating workshops and community activities to engage residents.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience within non-profit and social services sectors or comparable fields.
Strong background in providing complex needs support and knowledge of housing services.
Proficiency in managing caseloads efficiently, with an emphasis on minimizing risks such as arrears.
Driving Desirable – Must hold an in date DBS or be able to apply for one ASAP via BRC.
