EA Family Services is a nonprofit organization serving communities throughout Northern California. We are dedicated to providing safe, nurturing homes for foster youth and supportive services for young adults transitioning from foster care to independent living.
We are currently seeking a Part-Time Support Counselor to join our Sacramento team. This role provides essential support to foster youth, young adults, and foster families through case support, advocacy, and resource coordination.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Liberal Arts, or a related field required
- Experience working with children, youth, and/or foster families preferred
- Ability to provide supportive services and build positive relationships with youth and caregivers
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Flexible availability to meet program and client needs
Requirements
- Successful completion of DOJ, FBI, and CAIC background clearances
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel locally as needed
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on program requirements
