Key Responsibilities
Solutions:
- Ensure community resource knowledge is accurate and reflective of availability.
- Assist current HHFB participants with resource navigation.
- Attend HHFB distributions to engage new HHFB participants in resource navigation services.
- Follow procedures on participant funding requests, including gathering all necessary information before submitting requests,
- Maintain healthy boundaries with participants to ensure HHFB is maintaining a consistent level of safety and service.
- Table at pre-determined community events to share HHFB’s services.
- Maintain accurate records of all participant interactions, providing a weekly update to the Director of Operations.
Operations:
- Train on and show proficiency in driving all HHFB vehicles (with the exception of the EV truck), the forklift, pallet jacks, and any other equipment as determined by the Director of Operations, to serve as back-up support for other team members as needed
- Assist distribution leads with setup/tear down, participant records, surveys, customer service, and volunteer management at remote distributions.
- Oversee routine reporting such as TEFAP, inventory, poundage, and client numbers to ensure accurate and timely reports to Senior Leadership.
- Assist new participants with intake documentation and procedures.
- Provide administrative support to the Distribution Manager.
Coordination:
- Design and produce Operations signage, documents, and administrative assets in collaboration with leadership and development.
- Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- At least one year of directly related human services experience, or two years of other human service work experience,
- Demonstrated experience with program data and reporting, including knowledge of database software and reporting features,
- Inventory experience,
- Ability to give and receive feedback constructively,
- Working knowledge of professional and ethical boundaries in direct client services,
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace,
- Must pass background checks
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience utilizing Food Bank Manager database,
- Experience working with restricted direct client funding,
- Warehouse experience,
- Associate’s degree in human services or related field,
- Bilingual in Spanish, Russian, or Ukrainian
