Position: Full-Time Supervisor, Outreach Programs
Join Covenant House as a Full-Time Supervisor overseeing Outreach Programs, dedicated to youth care and safety. This role focuses on staff development, crisis management, and policy implementation.
As the Drop-In and Outreach Supervisor, you will ensure a safe space for youth and supervise a dedicated team of youth workers. Your leadership is vital in managing emergency situations and implementing trauma-informed care practices. Work collaboratively with program teams to identify service gaps and create innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure safety and compliance during Drop-In operations
• Provide mentorship and leadership to direct reports
• Collaborate to design and develop services in line with strategic goals
• Monitor and assess program performance indicators
• Maintain accurate payroll and documentation for volunteers
Requirements:
• 1–2 years of supervisory experience in a shelter or drop-in setting
• Relevant diploma or degree in related fields
• Deep understanding of youth homelessness issues
• Crisis intervention and first aid certification preferred
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
