You have:
Enrollment in secondary or post-secondaryeducation, with a preference for post-secondaryeducationprogram that supports human rights and social justice, equity and/orinclusionand anti-oppression in organizations and society or human resources or related field and returning to studies in the next academic term
General knowledge and understanding of social impact principles, particularly in the areas of EDIA, anti-racism, and social justice, policies and best practices
Project managementand coordination skills
Oral and writtencommunicationand interpersonal skills
Organizational skills to work on concurrent priorities with tight timelines and ability to meet deadlines
Attention to detailand follow-up skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team and customer service skills
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and Power Point
Must meet Ontario’s minimum working age for the job duties required
What you will do:
Conduct research on social impact issues related to equity,diversity,inclusion, anti-racism, and social justice, helping to inform the development of strategies and initiatives
Support the Director, EDIA and Social Impact andInclusionteam members with administrative work such as but not limited to organizing meetings, maintaining calendars, recording minutes of meetings, aggregating responses forleadershipreview, etc.
Assist in the preparation of briefing/meeting materials and preparing of social impact and EDIA resources in a professional manner and according to specifications
Help track the progress of social impact projects, ensuring that targets and deadlines are met, and bringing any issues to the attention of the Director, EDIA to maintain momentum
Assist in the preparation of presentations and engagement initiatives
