Immediate opening for qualified Summer Program Assistants with Connecti Kids Inc., a Hartford based non-profit agency.
Job Requirements
Must be 18 years or older
Must have at least 1-2 years of experience working with groups of youth ages 5–14
Must multi-task, work well with groups of youth and individual children, and have excellent interpersonal skills.
Must have a reliable form of transportation
Flexible schedule for special events and programs
Must be organized, timely, keen to detail, and have excellent communication skills
Job Responsibilities
Oversee student behavior during the program.
Track attendance and maintain all relevant program documents for students.
Update management and parents about the program and other pertinent information.
Facilitate lesson plans. All lesson plans are provided and all staff receive training.
Communicate with staff as needed to prepare for the program.
Fill in during staff absences.
Supervise students’ transportation to and from various locations, such as field trips.
Assist in coordination and implementation of special events.
This is a part-time position between 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, June 30th through August 1st (June 23rd-June 27th training week). MUST BE AVAILABLE THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE STATED TIME.
