QUALIFICATIONS:
16 years of age or older
High school Student or Graduate/Equivalent
Previous experience working with children preferably in a day camp setting
Experience preferred in one or more of the following areas: outdoor living, camping, songs/music, skits, sports, aquatics, recreational games, etc.
Ability to attend the mandatory summer day camp training.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Work under the general direction of a supervisor to supervise, participate with youth
Monitor assigned campers at all times
Accompanies campers to different sites such as field trips, swimming, etc.
Assists in maintaining the cleanliness of the location.
Attend staff meetings and complete all required training
