About Dynasty Dance Co.:
Dynasty Dance Co. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing underserved youth and families with enriching opportunities through dance education, academic support, childcare, and family services. Our summer camps are designed to keep children engaged, inspired, and learning in a fun, supportive environment. We offer five unique camps:
Dance Camp – Explore different dance styles, movement, and choreography.
Musical Theater Camp – A combination of singing, acting, and dancing for young performers.
Visual Arts Camp – Hands-on creative projects, painting, and artistic expression.
STEM Camp – Interactive science, technology, engineering, and math activities.
Teen Leadership Camp – Empowering teens with leadership, teamwork, and mentorship skills.
Job Description:
We are seeking enthusiastic and responsible Summer Camp Counselors to lead and support campers in one or more of our summer programs. Counselors will serve as role models, ensuring a safe, fun, and engaging camp experience for all participants.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and engage with campers in daily activities.
Lead or assist in planned camp programs, games, and creative projects.
Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all campers.
Support camp instructors and assist with set-up and clean-up.
Communicate effectively with campers, parents, and staff.
Address and resolve minor behavioral issues with patience and positivity.
Attend staff training before camp sessions begin.
Qualifications:
Prior experience working with children in a camp, classroom, or recreational setting is a plus.
Passionate about working with kids and creating a positive camp experience.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work outdoors and stay active throughout the day.
CPR/First Aid certification (preferred but not required).
Schedule & Commitment:
Camps run Monday-Friday, June through August 2025.
Shifts vary based on camp schedules.
Must be available for staff training before camp begins.

Pay: $17.25 – $23.25 per hour
