Spend Your Summer Helping Children And Youth At the United Way of Venango County, Reno, PA.
These positions include implementing summer programs and special events for children and youth in the Venango County to support academic readiness and youth programs throughout the summer months. Keystone SMILES is a nonprofit located in Knox which provides summer AmeriCorps (work) opportunities for schools and nonprofits helping to expand learning and offer mentoring programs throughout the summer.
AmeriCorps is a national service movement that engages thousands of men and women of all ages and backgrounds in service often referred to as the domestic Peace Corps, aimed at meeting the needs in the areas of Education, Public Safety, Environment, and Human Services.
Schedule: Monday – Friday – Full Time, Daytime Hours (occasional evening / weekend hours)
AmeriCorps Positions and Benefits –
1. May 16th – Last Day: August 19th –
Education Award – $1,956.35
Total Living Allowance – $5,796.00
Accepted applicants will participate in a two-day pre-service orientation their first and second day of service via virtual training.
