What you’ll do
Reporting to the Director, Strategic Partnerships, this role works closely with teams across the Foundation, including Philanthropy, Donor Experience, and Marketing & Communications. This role is central to the team’s ability to deliver high-quality stewardship, manage multiple moving pieces, and support projects from planning through completion.
The Strategic Partnerships team collaborates with hospital and research leaders to identify priorities where philanthropy can have a meaningful impact. The team also monitors donor-funded initiatives and shares compelling updates that demonstrate the outcomes of donor support and strengthen long‑term relationships. We’re looking for a proactive, collaborative team member who brings strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and a commitment to high-quality work in a fast‑paced environment.
More specifically, this role:
- Coordinates the planning and delivery of customized stewardship reports, including endowment reports, in partnership with teams across the Foundation
- Maintains the Foundation’s annual stewardship report production schedule through accurate database management and data tracking
- Coordinates the development of report content outline meetings, approval workflows, information gathering, and edit consolidation
- Helps prepare and format report content for print and digital distribution
- Edits and proofreads a range of materials, including impact reports, proposals, and cases for support
- Supports the coordination and maintenance of the Foundation’s fundraising opportunity inventory and other key tracking documents
- Provides additional project coordination as required
- Collaborates across teams to gather information, align priorities, and support project delivery
- Contributes to strong internal processes that improve efficiency, consistency, and quality across deliverables
What you bring
We understand that no single candidate will perfectly meet all the qualifications outlined for this job posting. The following highlights the qualifications we consider important:
- An Associate Certificate in Fundraising or a diploma in English, Communications, Marketing, Arts, Business Administration, or a related field
- Three years of experience providing project support in fundraising or in a fast‑paced administrative, marketing, or communications environment
- Demonstrated experience editing, and proofreading in a high‑volume environment
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
- Experience with Raiser’s Edge NXT is an asset
- Experience in a not-for-profit environment is preferred, or an equivalent combination of related skills and experience
- An understanding of fundraising principles, with the ability to support development and donor engagement initiatives
- Strong communication, project coordination, and relationship‑building skills
- Proficiency in project management tools like Asana/Wrike is an asset
- Professionalism, tact, and sound judgement when working with colleagues and partners at all levels.
