Position Overview:
We’re growing fast and looking for motivated, entrepreneurial individuals to join our solar sales team. Whether you’re an experienced closer or brand new to sales, we have structured paths and training to support your growth. You’ll work within your network and community, helping homeowners explore solar options while also supporting youth sports fundraising initiatives.

Your Responsibilities:
Generate and qualify leads (online, events, B2B, community outreach)
Set solar consultations or close deals directly (depending on your experience)
Use our referral and ambassador programs to grow your reach
Collaborate with youth sports teams to launch fundraisers
Use Sideline Solar’s tools, CRM, and training resources for ongoing support
Attend daily team calls and participate in weekly momentum check-ins
Career Tracks:
Setter – Set appointments and pass to closers. Perfect for beginners.
Seller – Run your own appointments and close deals (avg. $7,000/project).
Closing Partner – Experienced closers with access to national lead pool, stock options, and exclusive trainings.
Compensation:
Setter: $50–$100 per sit (qualified appointments) plus more for each sale (avg. $2,500)
Seller: Commission-based; earn up to 70% of project margin (average ~$7,000 per deal)
Bonuses, incentives, and stock options available
Training & Support:

Social Media, Lead Gen & Closing Skills
Daily live calls and mentorship

Requirements:
Strong work ethic and a self-starter mindset
Must be based in the U.S. or be able to get paid to U.S. Bank
Sales experience preferred but not required (we train you)
Solar experience a plus (but not required for entry-level setters)
Reliable internet connection and phone
Must be 18 or older
Optional Requirements for Higher Levels:
1 year of solar experience or 3 deals closed with a certified closing partner
2-hour platform certification
Experience with youth sports or nonprofit fundraising is a plus!
