Position: Â Social Worker (Fsc)

As a Social Worker within the Family Service Centre (FSC), you may be deployed across any of our 4 FSCs based in the Ang Mo Kio, Sengkang and Punggol regions.
** Roles and Responsibilities*
* – Conduct triage and intake services for members of the community
– Provide casework and counselling interventions for individuals and families
– Plan and conduct group work to support the needs of beneficiaries
– Engage in community work to build an ecosystem of assets and resources
– Engagement and advocate with systems and stakeholders in the community
– Strategise and coordinate interventions to support beneficiaries
– Assist with company projects or report submissions, as assigned by supervisor
– Carry out any other duties as assigned by HOD/supervisor
– Perform other duties assigned
** Desired Skills and Competencies*
* – Bachelor / Postgraduate Diploma / Master in Social Work
– No prior work experience required for new entrants to social work.
– Competencies in Casework, counselling, risk and crisis management, group work facilitation
– Competencies in working with various formal systems and conduct case conferences

– Passion to work with children, youths and their families
– Good Interpersonal skills and able to work with
diverse
population
– Strong
Communication
and with good written and interpersonal skills
– Commitment to the Code of Social Work Practice standards.

– Demonstrate sound and updated professional knowledge and skills in social work
– Relevant experience in working with individuals and families will be an advantage
