Role Overview

WeCare is seeking a passionate and strategic Social Media Manager to lead the development and execution of our social media presence. You will help elevate our voice, promote our programs, and build meaningful connections with healthcare professionals, partners, and the broader community.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement social media strategies aligned with WeCare’s mission and goals.

Drive content ideation, creation, and editing that reflects our values and supports provider wellbeing.

Collaborate with the Marketing, Communications, and Events teams to ensure unified messaging.

Lead community engagement initiatives to foster a supportive online environment for healthcare providers.

Plan and manage social media advertising to raise awareness and promote initiatives.

Conduct analytics and reporting to measure impact and refine strategies.

Maintain brand voice and integrity across platforms through effective brand management.

Attend WeCare events to capture social media content

Utilize social listening and conduct research to understand provider needs and industry trends.

Respond to inquiries and provide customer support on social channels.

Stay current with platform updates and trends in digital engagement.

Manage all major platforms and tools, including scheduling and moderation.

Research best practices for platform-specific voice and presence.

Monitor audience engagement and adapt content strategies accordingly.

Track conversion trends and optimize campaigns for greater impact.

Foster a culture of experimentation and optimization within the social strategy.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role, ideally in nonprofit or healthcare settings.

Deep understanding of social media platforms and how to engage diverse audiences.

Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.

Experience with analytics tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Meta Insights, Google Analytics).

Empathy-driven communicator with a passion for supporting healthcare professionals.

Ability to juggle multiple priorities and collaborate across teams effectively.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $60,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 40 per week
