Are you creative, social-media savvy, and passionate about using your skills to make a difference?
Hot Mess Express (HME) is looking for a Volunteer Social Media Lead to help us grow our online presence, tell the stories of women helping women, and connect our community with the mission of HME.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and manage a consistent social media strategy
- Create engaging posts, graphics, reels, and stories
- Help promote HME events, volunteer opportunities, fundraisers, and community initiatives
- Highlight the impact of women supporting women in our community
- Maintain a consistent and authentic brand voice across social platforms
- Monitor engagement and help grow our online community
- Collaborate with HME volunteers and leadership on campaigns and special projects
- Identify opportunities to increase awareness, engagement, and local support
We’re Looking For Someone Who
- Loves social media and storytelling
- Has experience with Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Canva, or similar platforms
- Is creative, organized, dependable, and self-motivated
- Can work independently while collaborating with a volunteer team while meeting deadline needs
- Understands that nonprofit storytelling should be authentic, respectful, and community-centered
- Is passionate about women supporting women
- Open to someone needing intern hours for school
This is a volunteer leadership opportunity.
The role is flexible and can be performed remotely, with opportunities to participate in local HME activities and events.
