Position Overview
Casey Foundation Africa is looking for passionate and committed volunteers to serve as Social Media Content Creators. The selected individuals will play a key role in strengthening the Foundation’s digital presence and supporting our mission through impactful content creation and engagement across LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook.
This is a remote, unpaid volunteer position suitable for individuals seeking to gain hands-on experience in communications while making a meaningful impact.
Key Responsibilities
Create and publish 2 to 3 engaging posts per week across LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook
Develop compelling stories and visuals that reflect the Foundation’s mission and activities
Collaborate with a communication team and receive feedback from a strategic communication expert
Participate in content planning sessions and stay aligned with the communication strategy
Monitor platform performance and suggest improvements to increase reach and engagement
Qualifications and Skills
Strong writing and storytelling abilities
Basic knowledge of social media platforms and content trends (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook)
Passion for social impact, youth and women empowerment, and gender equity
Self-motivated, organized, and able to meet deadlines consistently
Prior content creation experience (writing, graphic design, or video editing) is an advantage but not required
Time Commitment
Approx. 4 hours per week
Minimum commitment of 6 months
