Key Responsibilities
Mentor with Purpose: Help students identify social causes they care about and build project plans that are both impactful and admission-worthy.
Project Strategy: Guide students through planning, launching, and scaling their initiatives — using frameworks from social entrepreneurship, design thinking, or nonprofit leadership.
Align with Admissions: Help students frame their project work as part of a larger academic and personal story, strengthening their college applications.
Provide Accountability: Offer consistent feedback and check-ins to keep projects on track and outcomes meaningful.
Connect & Amplify: Leverage your network or experience in the nonprofit space to connect students to relevant partners, mentors, or media.
We’re Looking For Someone Who
Has experience in the nonprofit, social enterprise, or youth development sector.
Understands what makes an extracurricular project stand out on elite university applications.
Is passionate about mentoring youth and helping them grow into confident, capable changemakers.
Can think strategically and coach students to lead high-quality, well-documented initiatives.
Is organized, communicative, and inspiring to work with.
