The duration of the contract will be subject to the availability of funds from the partner organization.
Reporting Relationship:
Social Expert – Agriculture—–>Manager – Community Development (Functionally) and Head Noamundi Impact Cluster (Administratively)
Purpose
of the Role:
The primary responsibility will be implementing, monitoring and documentation of Agriculture based livelihood activities in the mentioned location.
Key Deliverables:
Coordinating with farmers and providing them with training in agricultural practices to ensure good agricultural practices are being followed.
Promoting Dry land cultivation and paddy cultivation with all the farmers.
Cultivation and value chain positioning of lemon grass, spices, ground nut and pulses.
Vegetable cultivation through good agricultural practices.
Formation of farmers group and mobilizing all the groups into Farmer Producer Organization.
Collaboration
with govt. departments in the district and block.
Introducing climate resilient agriculture project.
Preparing Daily Progress Report, project proposals, maintaining MIS.
Preparing Project for landless families.
Minimum Qualification:
B.Sc. in Agriculture and allied sciences or equivalent.
Work experience in years: Â 0-3 years
Technical Skill Sets
Project Planning, Management, Monitoring and Evaluation
Digital ability is a must;
Adept in computer literacy, dexterous with MS-Office
Financial Management in relation to CSR guidelines and constitutional framework
Good documentation, reporting skills in relation to community development related project proposals
Should be able to guide project teams based on core deliverables expected.
Desired skills in building synergies, partnership with relevant organization/ agencies.
Strong
communication
(English, Hindi) and interpersonal skills are also essential, as you will be working closely with marginalized community and other stakeholders
