Position Summary

Site Coordinator, Out-of-School-Time (OST) Enrichment

The Site Coordinator serves as the on-site leader responsible for the daily coordination, implementation, and success of EDGE For Tomorrow’s Out-of-School-Time (OST) Enrichment Programs, including Before School, After School, Summer Enrichment Camp, and other seasonal or special programming. This individual creates a safe, organized, welcoming, and engaging environment where scholars, families, staff, volunteers, and community partners thrive.

The Site Coordinator oversees daily program operations, staff supervision, family communication, attendance and compliance, activity coordination, and facility readiness while ensuring all programming aligns with EDGE For Tomorrow’s mission of educating, empowering, and enriching youth through academic support, STEAM, social-emotional learning, leadership development, and enrichment experiences.

This position requires a proactive leader who is highly organized, solution-oriented, and passionate about youth development. The ideal candidate leads by example, builds positive relationships, maintains high expectations, and ensures that every scholar experiences a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of assigned OST programming.
  • Supervise and support Group Leaders, Program Staff, Volunteers, and Youth Leaders.
  • Ensure scholar safety through active supervision and adherence to all licensing, health, and safety policies.
  • Coordinate daily schedules, transitions, enrichment activities, meals/snacks, and dismissal procedures.
  • Maintain accurate attendance, incident reports, family communications, and program documentation.
  • Communicate regularly with families regarding program updates, celebrations, concerns, and special events.
  • Prepare program spaces, materials, and supplies prior to each session.
  • Support onboarding, coaching, and accountability of program staff.
  • Collaborate with community partners, facilitators, and guest instructors.
  • Monitor program quality and continuously identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Represent EDGE For Tomorrow with professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to excellent customer service.

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Services, Social Work, Child Development, Recreation, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of two years of experience supervising youth programs or educational settings.
  • Experience managing staff, volunteers, and multiple priorities.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to problem-solve independently while maintaining a positive, team-centered approach.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and program management systems.
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Successful completion of all required background checks and child protection clearances.

Work Environment

This position requires frequent standing, walking, lifting program materials, engaging in indoor and outdoor activities, and actively participating with scholars. Occasional evening or weekend events may be required.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Temporary, Internship

Pay: $15.00 – $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
