Position: Sherwood Park Run Club Leader Needed
Lead and inspire as a Run Club Leader at Sherwood Park Running Room every Wednesday evening. Help build a vibrant and inclusive community for all running enthusiasts.
As a Run Club Leader, you will be responsible for organizing participants by varying pace and distance levels and guiding them during each run. The position includes sending regular communications about club events and creating themed nights to enhance the running experience. Focused on collaboration and community, you’ll help foster relationships among members as they achieve personal and collective goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Send bi-weekly emails detailing club activities and updates
• Manage pace and distance arrangements for participants
• Guide the group during runs to maintain inclusivity
• Develop creative themed club nights for engagement
• Support member relationships within the running community
Requirements:
• Must be an active runner capable of 6-8 km
• Great communication skills for effective participant engagement
• Committed to building a friendly and welcoming environment
• Available every Wednesday evening
• Motivated to encourage and inspire fellow runners
