Shelter Support Staff – Per Diem, Full Time – 3rd Shift, 11pm – 7am

Our Shelter Support Staff are vital to the operation of our homeless shelters, by:
· Monitoring shelter safety and well-being of the guests while on shift
· Performing administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, greeting guests and visitors, and responding to emergency situations quickly and appropriately
· Always maintaining professional boundaries and confidentiality
· Ensuring the rules of the facility are being followed
· Complete guest intakes on any new guests entering the shelter during shift coverage
· Assessing any crisis and determining guest needs
· Offering guests appropriate information and respond to their questions
· Provide guests with personal hygiene products, emergency clothing as requested
· Record shift activities and guest information in the shelter log
What You Bring to The Table
Previous CNA experience helpful but not necessary
Good observation, awareness, documentation, and computer skills
A reliable ensured vehicle, good driving record, five years driving experience, and valid driver’s license
Ability to pass a CORI background check
Commitment to integrity, excellence, and the highest standards of ethics
