Position: Variable Hour SGF Ambassadors Coordinator

The Public Information and Civic Engagement Department is seeking a Variable Hour, (no more than) 28 hours per week, SGF Ambassadors Coordinator. In this role, you will oversee and manage the volunteers who assist the City. You will play a key role in ensuring that volunteers are engaged, motivated, and have a positive experience while contributing to the success of City-led initiatives.
What you’ll do:
Recruit, train, and manage volunteers for the SGF Ambassadors program.
Collaborate with city departments, volunteers, and community partners to build a positive and effective volunteer program.

Experience,
Education
, and Training
Minimum of two years of experience working as, or with volunteers doing a variety of volunteer activities.
General data entry computer skills needed.
Preferred
Good communication and collaborative skills.
