LOCATION:Green Valley Service Center – 555 N. La Canada Drive #101, Green Valley, AZ 85614
STATUS:FT/40 Hours – Monday-Friday

QUALIFICATIONS:
Degree in Business Administration, or equivalent in related experience, non-profit helpful
Experience in the supervision of staff
Person of high integrity and willing to support and promote the mission of The Salvation Army
Must represent The Salvation Army in a positive manner at all times
Experience with volunteer recruitment
Excellentcommunicationand interpersonal skills
Must be capable of working with minimal supervision and independently
Able to organize, delegate, motivate and set priorities
Working knowledge and ability to use computer systems, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Demonstrate a positive outgoing attitude, with ability to work with people ofdiversebackgrounds
Must have current Arizona Driver License and a good driving record
Successful criminal background clearance
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Day to Day:
Responsible for operations and management of the day-to-day business at the Green Valley Service Center
Attend Rotary, Lions, Kiwanis Clubs weekly, developing strong relationships, presenting Salvation Army programs and needs
Attend Chamber of Commerce for Green Valley once a month representing The Salvation Army
Create and continually update PowerPoint presentations for use in presenting local programs
Manage GV Advisory Council, attend all meetings, prepare agenda, notification, and minutes
Apply for grants as they relate to Kids Care Fair, White Elephant, and any other events/fundraising activities
Responsible for Kids Care Fair preparations, set up, gift card orders, applications, securing vendors, and Sahuarita District gymnasium
Provide representation at Fiesta Sahuarita, passing out water, gifts, and general information
Manage overall supervision andleadershipto Green Valley staff, including adherence to job descriptions, training, evaluations, and disciplinary actions
Handle community complaints and inquiries involving the function of the programs and of personnel, answering phones when needed
Source, promote and recruit volunteers through various techniques, social media, email, databases, within the community to attract qualified candidates
In coordination with Public Relations, conduct presentations at various businesses, schools, churches, providing program information and volunteer opportunities to local newspaper, speaking on The Salvation Army Green Valley Service Center
Facilitate the Annual Volunteer Luncheon, handling all preparations, awards andrecognition, food and securing venue
Compile and manage statistical data information and enter into NSS system
Oversee GV social service program for the outlying communities, offering utility, water, gas, and propane assistance. Meet with clients to determine eligibility in the absence of administrative staff.
Ensure onsite collection for ARC is handled appropriately
Track and report monthly vehicle mileage
Assist in budget preparation, invoice approval monitoring income and expenditures throughout the year
