About the Role:
responsible for developing and implementing strategies to effectively recruit, retain, and support youth volunteers on the platform. This role involves designing and facilitating volunteer programs that align with the program’s mission and values while fostering meaningful experiences for young people.
Responsibilities:
Build and maintain partnerships with schools, universities, youth organizations, and community centers to promote volunteer opportunities to young people.
Provide guidance and mentorship to youth volunteers, helping them identify meaningful volunteer opportunities and develop their skills and leadership abilities.
Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to create targeted outreach campaigns and promotional materials aimed at youth audiences.
Track and analyze data related to youth engagement on the platform, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
Represent the program at youth-focused events, conferences, and workshops to raise awareness of our platform and programs.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure the seamless integration of youth engagement activities with overall organizational goals and objectives, and help team leads meet their targets through activities and events.
Creatively develop and plan engaging events aligned with program goals.
Oversee the event’s execution and make sure it’s implemented as planned.
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to your function, providing regular reports and insights to drive data-informed decision-making and optimize program effectiveness.
Provide timely information, photos, and videos to the communication department and social media agency to support engaging content creation and maintain a consistent online presence.
Collaborate with the Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) department to identify and highlight success stories and program impacts, ensuring these narratives are effectively communicated across platforms.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as youth development, education, social work, or nonprofit management.
Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in youth engagement, volunteer management, or related field.
Demonstrated experience developing and implementing youth-focused programs and initiatives.
Strong understanding of youth development principles and best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with and inspire young people from diverse backgrounds.
Proven ability to build and maintain partnerships with schools, universities, and youth organizations.
Experience in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making and program improvement.
Passion for volunteering and making a positive impact in communities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
