Paul geography preferred).

Applicants must live or relocate to the Upper Midwest region, with a preference for the Minneapolis/St. Paul area.
What you will do:
Work throughout the Upper Midwest geography on projects that increase and stabilize quality supportive housing, leverage Medicaid to pay for services for people experiencing or at-risk of homelessness, and push for and integrate homelessnesspreventionwith child welfare and housing systems at the local, county, state and national level to decrease the number of families in child welfare due to poverty through training, technical assistance, and system change efforts.
More specifically this position will:
Support efforts in Iowa to increase supportive housing statewide through Supportive Housing and Operations Institutes, and technical assistance with local communities.
Support efforts in Dickinson, North Dakota to develop and finalize a hotel to emergency shelter and supportive housing conversion in partnership with a local homeless and housing coalition and state and local partners. This includes connecting state and federal service dollars (including new ND Medicaid housing stabilization services) to the development.
Support efforts in Minnesota to increase access to Medicaid Housing Stabilization Services (HSS) and increase connections to housing for child welfare involved families.
Support efforts in Wisconsin to increase connections to housing for child welfare involved families.
