Salary & Benefits: Salary package range is $36,000 – $50,000 based on education and experience, further details are available upon request.
Goal: FBCC is looking for a Pastor who loves God and His people, is a gifted preacher and teacher of Scripture, and understands the importance of expository preaching. He must lead in making disciples and work with the church leadership to fulfill God’s plans for the church.
Profile of Characteristics, Qualities, & Convictions:
Sets the example for a vibrant relationship with the Lord.
Prioritizes his family.
Commits to the authority of Scripture as the foundation of belief and practice.
Exemplifies servant leadership in the Church.
Meets the criteria of an “overseer,” per 1 Timothy 3.
Must become a resident member of FBCC.
Commits to evangelism, discipleship, missions, and outreach.
Demonstrates financial responsibility and accountability.
Adheres to the Baptist Faith and Message 2000 and agrees with FBCC by-laws, policies, and procedures.
Preferences:
Education from a sound theological seminary.
Minimum of 5 years Lead Pastor Ministry experience.
Commitment to maintaining affiliations with the Southern Baptist Convention.
A Master of Divinity preferred.
Commitment to the sovereignty of God in salvation.
Our Church:
First Baptist Church Colstrip seeks a pastor called to serve in rural southeastern Montana. We are a church of approximately 70 members in a town of 2200 people, committed to the written Word of God.
