Immediate Start
We are seeking an experienced Marketing Specialist to join a well-established nonprofit organization on a temporary, full-time basis (6-9 months) supporting product marketing.
What You’ll Do
- Finalize, refine, and document marketing plans and strategies
- Ensure insurance marketing campaigns are executed accurately and on schedule
- Manage marketing operations software to execute campaigns and audience selection
- Review marketing copy and materials for accuracy, routing for internal/external approvals
- Optimize all marketing touchpoints for copy and user experience
- Organize, code, and process marketing project invoices for timely payment
- Lead postage estimate processing and payment reconciliation for campaigns
- Track marketing expenses, budget variances, and related communications
- Complete performance reporting and budget projections
- Partner with external agencies/vendors and internal stakeholders
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field
- 5+ years of experience developing and implementing product marketing
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), Google Analytics, Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint, and SharePoint
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines
- Strong organizational skills and budget management experience

- Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite in Gaithersburg, MD / 2 days remote
- Immediate start available
- Insurance or association/membership-organization marketing experience is a strong plus
